Moving an air-conditioning unit calls for details about the equipment, its current position and the intended installation location. Add the requirement to your complete move and specify the number, types and work needed before agreeing the scope.

List the units, their types and any information you have, and say whether dismantling only or dismantling and installation is requested. Mention existing faults or condition issues; moving a unit does not imply fixing a pre-existing problem.
Include the new installation location
The indoor and outdoor unit locations and access to them are relevant to assessment. Additional pipework or alterations need to be discussed separately and should not be assumed to be included in moving or installing the unit.
Coordinate with the moving date
Share when both properties are accessible and your requested date. AC work should be left to an appropriate technician; do not disconnect connections or prepare the unit for dismantling yourself based on website guidance.

Does the AC service include refrigerant or new pipework?
Do not assume those are automatically included. Requirements depend on the unit and property, and any refrigerant work, pipework or additional tasks need a clear agreement.
Do I need the AC model before preparing my request?
Share what you know: the number, type, location and requested work. If the model is unknown, say so rather than entering an inaccurate detail.
Should I mention an existing fault?
Yes. Describe its condition and any known problem from the start. Requesting dismantling and installation within the move does not automatically include repair work or a guarantee that an existing fault will be resolved.
